Trix, also known as Trex or Tricks, is played by four players using a standard international 52-card pack without jokers. It is a game that requires both intelligence and luck.

The game consists of five contracts selected by the game owner in their kingdom. Completing all four kingdoms is necessary to finish the game.

The five contracts are as follows:

King of Hearts or "Roi de Coeurs" - Sheikh Al Koba
Diamonds - "Al Dinary"
Girls or "Femmes" - "Banat"
Collections/Slaps/Slapping/Lutoosh
Trex or Trix

In four of the games, you must avoid taking certain types of cards during your turns, as they will result in negative points. The fifth game requires completing the order of cards on the table, with the player who finishes first earning positive points.

Trex Complex is a recent variant where a dealer can play two or more of the first four contracts simultaneously. In this case, all penalty cards and tricks from these contracts are scored in that deal.
